Search and read
Search by street, neighborhood, city or building number, or browse the map, and open any property to see its trust score and reviews from people who lived there.
Ejar Check is the rental reputation platform for Jordan: real tenants review the homes they have lived in — an apartment in a building, a villa or a house — so the next tenant knows what to expect before signing a lease. Browsing is free with no account needed, in Arabic and English.
Search by street, neighborhood, city or building number, or browse the map, and open any property to see its trust score and reviews from people who lived there.
Every property gets a score out of 5 — not a plain average: verified reviews weigh more, recent experiences count more, and repeated low ratings pull the score down.
Pin the building on the map and pick your apartment, then rate the property with stars and by category (cleanliness, maintenance, responsiveness, value for money, neighborhood), add photos, and post under your name or anonymously.
A landlord applies with their national ID, then claims their property with its title deed. Once approved by our admin team they can reply to reviews and dispute inaccurate ones, and their reputation is built from the reviews of every property they manage.
Search the address on Ejar Check or open the map. Each property page shows its trust score, past tenants' reviews by category, photos, and the landlord's replies if any. If the landlord has claimed the property, their page gathers the reviews of all their properties.
Yes. Reading reviews, searching and the map are free for everyone, with no account needed. You only need a free account to write a review.
The trust score is a weighted average out of 5: a verified review weighs 0.7 against 0.3 for an unverified one, a review loses half its weight every year so the score stays current, and 0.1 is deducted for each low rating (one or two stars) starting from the second low rating, up to one point.
When writing a review you can attach your lease and national ID. The Ejar Check team checks them, and once approved the review gets a "Verified" badge and more weight in the trust score. These documents are never published.
Yes. Choose to post anonymously and neither your name nor your account appears on public pages, while you can still manage the review from your account.
No. Reviews are always about the property itself, never about a person. A landlord's reputation is the sum of the reviews of the properties they manage and have claimed on the platform.
Create an account, then apply to become a landlord from your account page with a photo of your national ID. Once approved, claim your property by uploading its title deed; after it is approved you can reply once to each review.
No. A landlord can reply to a review, and any inaccurate review can be disputed for our admin team to examine against the content guidelines. Only its author can delete a review.
